Mu preference is for the Leupold fixed 2.5X. Light weight & trouble free. No moving parts. Considerable field of view. . I find it far faster than open sights & even at 2.5x it allows you to pick out shapes in shadowy cover that your eyes can not . Look into the the shadows at 100yds away with just your eyes. You can't make out any thing. Then look thru the scope. Amazing what you can make out. Once you mount & actually use this scope you will be amazed how you can accurately place long shots plus place quick up close shots.
