This is the first Kimber I've owned and I've gotta say the trigger is exceptional. It came at 3.5 lbs exactly and I'm gonna leave it there until I shoot it some and tinker with it from there.

As for the finish, I'm curious as to how it will hold up. I somehow chipped one of the textured bits off behind the tang while mounting the scope. Probably when using the heavy arse lapping bars to get the Talleys to align, they were further off than expected when I just put them on. I suggest anyone get the Warren kit or similar for mounting scopes. By tightening down one screw on each base with the bar in and the rings tight I got it perfectly straight. I also did a quasi traditional bore sight by leveling the rifle to point at a door knob across my dining room, living room, and down a hall about 20+ yards away, a technique I've used a lot and have had great success with but always had to adjust the scope some, and with this one it was dead on.
