Finally got the bucket list gun of the Browning Safari Grade .300 H&H Magnum. It is kinda large for our puny Florida deer but that and pigs will be the main quarry for a while. Any suggestions on loads for deer? If there is a universal load suitable for deer to moose I am not apposed to simplifying things for future hunts. I have some 180 gr Hornady 180 gr Interbond factory ammo coming in the mean time.
SOrt of in a similiar situation with a 300 weatherby. I am looking at 165-168 grain bullets at a slightly reduced speed. If I were looking at bigger game then deer , i jack up the velocity and use a 180 grain TSX or Partition .
