I have a pair of 20's, an 11-87 and a 870, both youth models. The 870 is scoped, the 11-87 did have a red dot on it, but I took it off so I could use fiber optic sights. I've killed turkey with both, and see nothing wrong with using a 20. I took a bird with the 11-87 earlier this season. But, if I absolutely had to kill a turkey or else, I'd take my old Winchester 1300 in 3 inch 12 guage. It will outdo the 20's.
