had an older troy bilt it was great. replaced it many years later new one has safety device that kicks it out of gear that makes it unusable. would never buy another.

We had a Troy Built Horse model , circa early 70s. Used it for 30 years on our gardens and others, and it was a wonderful piece of equipment. Sold it when we moved up here for more than we paid for it.
That conpany is gone, only the name remains and the current TB tiller is nowhere close to the original in quality.
