I also had trouble working and reaching the Gen 3 mag release, with out changing my grip just a tad.
Didnt get better when I added a beavertail to it,
So heres what I done.
I took a q-tip with a little graphite Gun Slick on it, and put it down on the metal of the mag release and worked it back and forth a bit.
I also took the qtip which was just covered, but not wet with graphite, and rubbed it on the corners of the magazines. Its black and the mags are black, and I didnt put enough on there to come off on your hand,just enough to work into the layer of plastic.
pretty slick nah, comes shootin out like chit thru a goose- empty or full- and easier to work the release.
