I haven't owned a 722 in 222 for awhile, but have owned at least a dozen since 1980. I mostly shot 50 grain Sierra Blitz over 22 grains of 3031 in them. Shot my first 'cat, my first coyote, and my first pdog with a 722 in 222. Wish that I still had that rifle, but I had to sell it when we were struggling to keep the bank from calling our loan on our first business. I never had a problem getting accuracy with bullets up to 53 grains.
