I think that the Weaver V16 is a great 17HM2 and 17HMR scope, but may be too large, physically overwhelming, on a rifle with a sporter/light contour barrel. It have a Leupold 3-9x33 EFR on my Miroku 52 Sporter and like the feng shui it brings to the package.

For me, an AO is a must option on a serious rimfire scope.
