only accurate rifles are interesting. Why settle? Ruger American shoots as good as the Savages, feeds better, handles better, and will still outshoot most 77/22
My notion is that all accurate rifles are interesting, but accuracy is only one attribute I look for in a rifle. I don't sit at a bench punching holes in paper all day, unless I'm testing ammo or tuning. I've killed a bunch of small game with .22s that probably wouldn't shoot in an inch at 50 yards, and can't recall ever missing because my
rifle couldn't make the shot.
