Small man big type syndrome is lame.
The number of sites I participate in is a very low single digit number for that reason.
The Savage Collector forum is self patrolled fairly well with an occasional show of "passion".
I've tried to persuade folks to clean it up on some other sites. In person you have a chance, typing is futile unless you possess the "user delete" button.
