The reason we boycott businesses is to change their behavior to match our ideas by affecting their bottom line; the need to do so precludes their having the same ideas about things that we do.
I don't boycott their games to impact their bottom line. I boycott their games because I'm offended by their behavior. Them losing money is just a spiteful bonus.
