First of all, my condolences, second of all, my congratulations on having such a fine Dad and a close relationship with him.
I won't say it gets easier, but after a while, the hurt of losing him will fade.
The memories and the love will be with you the rest of your life.
I lost my own "Old Man" over seven years ago. Ain't a day goes by that I don't think of him, and how lucky I was to know him so well.
