The Revolutions are about 2 ounces heavier than the comparable Leupold models. I think that is probably a good thing for durability's sake.
I've had two Revolutions so far, a 3-9x and a 2-7x, both of which are very very good for their price.
If you look at Leupold Rifleman 3-9x40 and Redfield Revolution 3-9x40, the weight, length, etc are exactly the same.
