I've been shooting the 129 gr lrx out of my 270 wsm with great success. I have never had a need to shoot long range on game but they are incredibly accurate out to 500 yards (farthest I've ever had the opportunity to shoot on paper). The most important part is they perform very well on game. Just this past year I shot two whitetail and a coyote and nothing so much as twitched. I'm using 65 grains of H4831SC, which puts them a just shy of 3400 fps. The one buck I shot was quartered away (practically facing away from me) so I put the bullet a few inches behind the shoulder and the exit hole was just below the base of the skull on the neck opposite of where the bullet went in. So far penetration and expansion have been great with this bullet.
