[/color][color:#3333FF]I'm new to the forum and was hoping to gather some information. I have two takedowns, one from 1915 and another from 1919 in 25-35 and 22HP, both with 20 inch barrels. I've been unsuccessful in finding a 250-3000 takedown with a 20 inch barrel made from the same decade. I've found a few 22 inch and I'm afraid I may be seeking a rifle that Savage simply didn't make. Has anyone seen a 250-3000 takedown with 20 inch barrel? The earlier the better.
I'm not sure if it is tradition to introduce yourself as a new member, in a nutshell I retired in January 2008, live in coastal Georgia, and like lever actions and wheel guns. My favorite caliber is 32-20 (pistol) and 405 Winchester (rifle). I target shoot weekly and only occasionally hunt anymore,
