I have a stainless Winchester 375 but had some work done to it to make it what I wanted. I too hate the factory profile so I had a gunsmith lathe down the contour, chop 2inches off and install NECG sights. Then bought a mcmillian winlite takeoff here on the fire for cheap. It's been a great moose,brown bear and guide gun.
Can't remember the gunsmiths name but he was in Soldotna out by Mackey lake. It's been a few years ago and I'm not sure if he still does stuff. T Spraker turned me on to him and he did great work
