A hacksaw, a bit of time with a good file, and my old M70 SS 375 is 3-4" shorter and balances SO MUCH better; they really are fine work tools when you fix them up right!
I plan to cut mine to 20" and get the sight put back on. Its a frontheavy beast at the moment, but it sure shoots good
