I bought a 30-06 1640 barreled action here on the Campfire for $300.00 shipped and later found a stock here that was not in the best of shape.

I refinished the stock myself, glass bedded the front lug and relieved the tang area.

These stocks are out there and with a little patience and search they can be found.

Some Flitz on the metal and it cleaned up nicely the 60 year old rifle.

I'm very impressed with the Husqvarna and this is a keeper. This is the finest balanced rifle I own.
