Yeah, that shark fin front sight isn't too compatible with soft cases. Not sure mine is walnut, it's too light in weight and color. I used a stain with a little bit of red tint. Weighs just under 7 1/2 lbs with a Burris fullfield II 3x9. I found a serial number manufacturing chart somewhere that placed it at about 1959 or 60. Not sure that site is still online.
