This thread has got me thinking, I have this same stock, and mine needs some minor repair as well. I only have the HVA action as well, I've installed a Timney trigger and a 3 position Dakota safety. I've got to decided on what I want to chamber it in now as I'm kind of to that point. I'm thinking either 6.5X55 or .257 Roberts, don't need either but these are the two I'm most interested in.

for the American Types...I just neck up 257 Roberts brass, with a Winchester head stamp on it..
which I prefer over the Remington Brass....
