I'm at the WWC show in Riverton, Wy. this weekend. There's a real clean 1927-28 vintage 99K with a long ramp front sight not integral to the barrel. It also has a long hood on the sight. The sight is an ordinary looking post.The rifle does not appear to be reblued. If the sight was added later the ramp would have to have been ground off and the barrel reblued. Is there a possibility that this is factory? I'll get photos when I get back to the show. David
