Interesting. Another campfire member sent me a photo of the same sight he saw on a 99K at a show in MA in Nov. 2016. Did the same rifle cross the country in a year and a half?
I am quite certain that those King sights mount over the factory ramp and are pinned to the original ramp. No need to modify the rifle other than removing the original blade from the dovetail and drilling the ramp for the pins.
