I don't know what kind of question he could have asked that Rosenstein wouldn't have lied in response to or otherwise ducked it.
Your comment and doubt are probably right on the mark - Rosenstein very well may have done so. BUT - hearings like this are for the RECORD - and smart tough probing questions asked properly make the most effective record. Tomorrow, hold them accountable for the answers of today..
