I would hope the NRA would lend the affiant a goodly stipend with which to secure a crack legal team to fight a case of the police confiscating firearms without due process (warrant as per the 4th Amendment). It would probably be fast tracked the USSC, as long as President Trump can secure another Originalist to replace Kennedy. Kavanaugh caused the anti-gunners to slobber and start spitting wooden nickles due to his hard line stance in favor of gun owners and the 2nd Amendment.
