My load for my 25-06 that shoots the best is 49 grains IMR4350 and 117 SST’s.
Shoots extremely well in this January 1971 ADL with bullets just off the lands (1/4 turn on seating die).

I thought this barrel may have been shot out, but all holes touching at 100 yards is mighty fine, I think.

I had not been able to get this rifle to shoot accurately with several loads I tried up to this point.

My question are: “What’s your opinion on this bullet launched at this velocity for white tail?” (3150fps on my Caldwell chronograph)
And “Would you look for a better bullet?”
