Not a lot of difference performance wise. Ammo is much easier to get in .44 mag. I have both, prefer the .41 Mag but I reload. My carry pistol when hunting backup/close shot is a 357PD. A not often seen S&W Scandium 4" in .41 mag, much more pleasant than it's big brother the 329PD.
