Yes, the chiefs personal opinions are not helpful. They have a good case, no need to screw it up before it goes to court. The discovery hearing alone will stir up enough talking points. But, it will fully outline all the bits and pieces of the case. The defense team will have it's work cut out for them. Their only hope will trying to suppress some the evidence. the police had a dozen detectives on this case. so it should be sewn up nice and tight. Do not forget the feds have not charged him as of yet.
