I have been hiking and Mtn Biking lately in either the R1 or Peleton 240 over a synthetic T-shirt. Like them both, a lot. The R1 is a bit more breathable and has a softer feel to it. Very comfortable for daily wear. However with the breathability it lacks wind protection. Very noticeable on the mtn bike. The 240, somewhat surprisingly, dries faster. Not sure how, but it seems to move moisture a little better. I noticed my t-shirt under the R1 stays damp a bit longer after a hike and the R1 definitely has stayed damp longer than the 240. I’ll keep wearing them and see if that holds true.
