Run-flats. I wouldn’t say I favor them, but I don’t want to get stranded. Granite curbs are hell on sidewalls. The car rides on staggered width wheels and has no spares. All but the best run-flats ride like shït and they’re stupid expensive. I keep a few spare (unmounted) tires on hand because every time one blows or gets a bubble, nobody’s got a replacement in stock.

No kidding about the smile factor. If all the tires are good, it’s nothing but Spaß.
