I welcome a couple of dry weeks (but not at 95º). It rained every weekend but 3 between Halloween and Easter at my house. South Georgia might be drier but the dang rivers and lakes here have been overfull.

As for Savannah getting a hurricane, the Gulf Steam steers them away up toward N. Carolina. Savannah was last hit directly in something like 1840.
