FWIW: I have a 101 without the adjustable sights. XS Sights (makers of the XS Big Dot) makes a Standard Dot Tritium front sight for these (also fits the J-frame Smith). It is a round, white sight with a tritium center. It's just the correct size. I REALLY like mine and it's much easier to see than the standard black front blade.
