For what it’s worth.......I’ve had one of the GP100’s in 44 Special with the 3” barrel since they were first introduced and love it. It is my most often “carry” gun and is my “night stand” gun. The action is good, both single and double action and is superbly accurate. The only change I made was installing a set of regular GP100 Compact grips. They make the gun easier to conceal if so desired, look good on the gun, and fit my hand better than the grips that come on the gun. I think you would like it.
