Don't see any reason why not. My luck with M7s has been good...and even if its a slow twist there's lots of good premium "deer" bullets that will work well in a 1 in 12

I was thinking these are 9 twist barrels?
A Kimber MT would be nice, I did find a Deluxe Classic in 223, but no MTs.

Regarding the Weatherguard V2, I was thinking of the standard 24" sporter with the barrel cut back to 20", not the H-BAR style.
These have a 1-9" ROT and I think that they are Weatherby's number VTG223RR4O.
