The 200 grain Partition with a case full of old H4831 was our go to load for the 30-06 for many years. When the Barnes X showed up we went to the 180 grain weight and now load for the 168 grain TTSX. I have some 175 grain LRX bullets that I am going to try in my old Pre-64 Featherweight 30-06.

I will never hunt enough to know if they kill as well as the 200 grain Partition, but my thought is the 200 grain Partition is just a great all around big critter bullet.
