I am another who uses Duluth Trading Co. Firehose Pants with cargo pockets. But after a year and a half the rear sight wore a hole in the pocket. I guess it will last only so long with a 1911 pocket carried. Looking for the cut offs from when we fitted the pants. The pant leg material is way heavier than the pocket material. I thought about that stuff when we started with those pants and should have followed up with the reinforcement first. The change division in the bottom of the right front pocket holds the barrel in the correct position for draw. It takes some practice to not reach back to my right side for the draw.
