It's perfectly safe to shoot special length cases in magnum chambers but if you fire enough of them crud is likely to build up at the end of the chamber and make chambering magnum length cases problematic. Given the difficulty in dismantling 92's for cleaning from the breech end, I'd probably give it a miss.
