Be interesting to inspect. Serial number 764,xxx should be from 1955, same year that the 308's came out - but could be pre-900,000. So was it a "prototype" receiver to the 900,000 rifles that handles the 308, or will it be a single fire 308?

Beautiful work on it, tho the griz is a bit of a hunchback. grin
