Then there is the question of who engraved the Savage president and VP rifles from 1967. Also rummers of a few other from that period handed out to special people.

Well I think we're pretty sure Rentzschke did 500xx1, 764xxx, 928-930xxx rifles.

Rentzschke's time at Savage was over. But...he was still probably capable. ??
1967 & 1969 was more of the contract German/PE engraver time period. And it sounds like there were several different engravers who's styles probably differed. May explain variations in PE's. ??
