I really hope to use a 358 Winchester for the first time. It is almost finished, built off a Mauser 98 action. Depends on how long ahead of season it gets finished as to what I use. If I have enough time, I will try cast bullets. 230 grain mold from NOE, powdercoated, target velocity of 2100. If I have less time, probably use the 178 grain Hammer bullets under a load of TAC pushed pretty hard. Target velocity 2700.

If that gun does not get finished, it will be my faithful Ruger M77 MkII chambered in 260 Rem. utilizing handloads with 117 grain hammer bullets,4350 powder. I don't really plan on shooting factory ammo again!

......the occasional hunter wielding a hopelessly inaccurate rifle, living by the fantastical rule that this cartridge can deliver the goods, regardless of shot placement or rifle accuracy. The correct term for this is minute of ego.
