For a lot of folks hunting season is just around the corner. What are you useing this year? Rifle, scope, handloads, bullet, store bought ammo, velocity, game it will be used on...etc? Are you trying anything new? Revisiting anything old? Staying with the same tried and true?

Hunting 2 new animals this year so changes needed to be made. Hunting coues for the first time which is going to require shooting to 700 yards or thereabouts. The 270 gets the nod but with RL26 topped with 145gr ELDX. Opticswise a 3-15 SWFA instead of the old Leupold 3-9 and Swaro 15x binocular. Also hunting pronghorn for the first time but at 3-400 yards, the coues set up should make that a chip shot.
