Tactical is a big market these days, but there are a lot of active hunters and shooters who want normal set and forget, light weight scopes with good eye relief. Traditionally this has been Leupold’s niche but they have lost a lot of trust in the last five years.
It’s safe to say the first reputable manufacturer to realize this market exists and that a Leupold isn’t trusted like they once were stands to make some money.
I’d certainly commit to a pre-order for such a scope.
