Great description, thanks for sharing. I recently acquired a old Stevens, sadly its not Pope barreled, however the bore looks good and maybe it will be a good shooter.
What do you know about muzzle loading these guns...? In some old literature I have, Henry describes this, however I am not sure if I follow all the details....
