The boys, my son and his buddy, both punched one of their RIVER WMA doe tags this morning and want to come back this afternoon to see about punching either or both of their remaining tags, one buck and one doe.

Another 1-shot per deer, shoot 'em though the lungs, followed by a 30' stagger and fall over dead harvest via Winchester/Olin's 6.5 Creedmoor 125 grain Deer Season XPs.

As soon as they drag the deer to the truck and load them, we'll be heading off to Wahoo to drop the deer off at the processor, then home to clean up and go out for lunch.

All in all a pretty nice day. This will be my last father-son deer hunt for awhile, as next year he will be off at College. Enjoy your kids while you can, 'cause sooner or later they'll be off living their lives and making their memories without you.
