Dont know if you remember or not, but Coach O got the LSU job because Herman chose Tx over LSU.

Oh yeah, Herman was doing really good at Houston and LSU really wanted him. Thank goodness he chose Tx. and that left Coach O for LSU. Coach O was made the interim coach when they fired Les Miles and O did a good job. Lots of people wanted O for head coach.
