i have bought an awful lot of stuff off the dcm and cmp, but decided to pass on the 1911's. mostly because that addiction started being scratched way before they started offering them, and i bought everyone i came across.
i remember people telling me i was nuts for paying 400pucks for a military 1911.
Given cmp set that floor at about 1000bucks, made me happy with the ones that were all there, hadn't been reparked, etc.
keep in mind the nra was selling them at one time to members in a more enlightened era for about 18 or 19bucks a piece.
