that grey finish reminds me hugely of the repark done on garands, carbines etc in the rebuild programs of the 50's.
i have a few garands with the same kind of finish.
i want to say from an imperfect memory, should be a stamp right below those two pins on the frame the imperfect memory without checking crossed cannons.
