I think some of here ( campfire as a whole, all sub forums) have to believe they are right and that’s the only way.
Or someone will associate price with functionality. Look at the rifle threads. Joe the weekend hunter wants to kill a deer. Certainly can’t hunt with a $400 ruger American. Nor can he use a vortex scope.
Get what works for you and be happy. At the same time nothing wrong with looking for the very best.
That’s why i like to get knives made. To suit me. Someone else will look at it and say that won’t work for me. And you are right.
