I've been extremely pleased with the Ruger American Predator rifles I've owned and shot in 308, 223, and 6.5 CM. Enough so that I bought one of them in 22 LR. It was a disappointment. My 10-22 is more accurate and I did have ejection issues. The brass would extract, but unless you pulled the bolt back vigorously it would not eject. I didn't keep it long.

I did eventually replace it with one of the Tikka T1x 22's. Now that is a shooter. I paid $440 for it, and considering the huge improvement in accuracy consider it money well spent. Before buying this rifle I always thought most of my rifles were more accurate than me and that my shooting skill that was the limiting factor. This rifle proved me wrong.

Most people don't really want the truth.

They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.
