Great gun at a great price....
A friend took the SIG build course at the factory that is only about 30 mines from here. I happened to be at the range while he was shooting the two guns he had built. One was a 229/.357 and don't recall what the other was. He had two rounds left that he gave me to shoot...both rounds went in an oblong hole at 25 yards...
Only reason I never bought a 229 in .357 is a) like ratsmaker I carry a .38 Super that runs the same velocity and b) I have three S&W 6906s leftover from my LE days that are the same size as the 229...
You will enjoy that one...

I believe the 357 sig can run a good bit faster than a 38 Super. The Underwood 125 grain 357 Sig is claimed 1450 FPS and often hut 1500+
