I use them for 7/8 oz in AA, STS and similar hulls with most powders. In larger capacity hulls such as Federal, Fiocchi, and the like, I use them with 1 oz of shot especially if using bulkier powders. The crush section is longer with these wads so they take up enough space for decent crimps without having to touch the reloader settings.
